Parenting is Political is a digital project that seeks to shift the conversations and narratives that surround family and parenting. We present culture-influencing conversations via our podcast and provide resources for our community via our website. We believe the “traditional/nuclear family” is simply a covert way of reinforcing structural oppression through devaluing and excluding authentic and diverse models of family and parenting. We celebrate the resilience and beauty of families otherwise rejected and prejudiced against by the myth of the “traditional/nuclear family”.
